A magical evening kayaking under the alpenglow and full moon.

The Sierra State Parks Foundation is partnering with West Shore Sports to offer a unique kayak tour along the shore of Sugar Pine Point State Park. The tour will take place between the highest elevation operational lighthouse in the U.S. to the park’s southern boundary overlooking Meeks Bay. State Park staff will provide insight into the region’s cultural and natural history under the light of a full moon!

The cost of the tour is $50 ($40 for SSPF donors), which includes parking, the kayak rental, mandatory life jackets, and safety training. No experience is necessary. Attendees should arrive at 7:00 p.m. to pick up rentals. The tour begins at 7:30 p.m. and lasts an hour and a half. Recommended for ages 12 and up. This tour is limited to 24 people.
